Dance: Leotard and tights are required during dance class for students to receive correct positioning in dance techniques. Jewelry, gum, and street clothes are not permitted during dance class. Ballet skirts are optional. Hair should be worn away from the face. Dancers will need pink ballet shoes and flat, black tap shoes. Jazz shoes are optional.

Art: Students should wear old clothes. Some materials used in the studio might stain, specifically acrylic paint. All materials used are non toxic and safe, but if you or your child have any known allergies or medical conditions please let our staff know.

Commitment:

For each child to learn commitment and perseverance, we believe it is important he/she finish out the studio year. It is in this attitude of respect for our studio, our instructors, and our fellow classmates, we ask that you not “drop out.” If there is some problem with your child’s class, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve the issue.

Please make every effort to have your child promptly in class each week. Frequent tardiness and absences create problems for the student, the instructor, and the classmates. When unavoidable absences arise please call the studio before your child’s class time to inform us.

Student Withdrawal:

If your child must withdraw from any class please provide a 2-week courtesy notice. If a written notice is not provided, your tuition will continue to accrue. When notified, payment for your 2-week notice plus any outstanding balances must be paid. If withdrawal is within 3 months of the end of the year performance, a $35 cancellation fee will be assessed.

Inclement Weather:

In case of class cancellation due to inclement weather please call the studio and a message will be left on the voicemail. These classes will be rescheduled at a later date.
