 ART SCHEDULE FALL 2009
TUESDAY:
3:45-5:00 STUDIO ART AGES 8-10
Bright colors and lots of painting and drawing is what you’ll get in this class! The adventure starts as we study famous master painters and artists! We will explore painting and drawing techniques, along with other media such as oil pastels, chalk, and printmaking! Join us for this colorfully canvas filled class!
5:15-6:15 STUDIO ART AGES 5-7
In this class, we will explore a little bit of everything including drawing, painting, and sculpture! Join us as we get creative using color, line, shape, and texture. Common materials used are acrylic and watercolor paint, canvas, oil pastel, and plaster.
6:30-8:00 ADVANCED STUDIO ART AGES 11-13
Small class size allows for individuals to explore their personal interests, with assistance from the instructor. Emphasis is placed on Art History, Drawing, Painting, and Mixed Media. Materials include Acrylic and Watercolor Paint, Pastels, Charcoal, Oil Pastels, and an elaborate variety of supplies for Mixed Media Projects! Join us in this laid back learning environment. Beginners and Advanced Students are welcome!
THURSDAY:
3:45-4:45 STUDIO ART AGES 6-8
In this class, we will explore a little bit of everything including drawing, painting, and sculpture! Join us as we get creative using color, line, shape, and texture. Common materials used are acrylic and watercolor paint, canvas, oil pastel, and plaster.
5:00-6:15 ADVANCED ELEMENTARY STUDIO ART AGES 9-10
This class is for the serious elementary art student who intends to continue art at the middle school level. Class size will be smaller in order to focus more on technique and individual expression through art. Mediums explored are painting, drawing, mixed media and sculpture. Successful completion of this class will potentially lead to early enrollment into Middle School Advanced Studio. Please speak with Erika before enrolling your child into this class.
6:30-8:00 ADVANCED STUDIO ART AGES 12+
Small class size allows for individuals to explore their personal interests, with assistance from the instructor. Emphasis is placed on Art History, Drawing, Painting, and Mixed Media. Materials include Acrylic and Watercolor Paint, Pastels, Charcoal, Oil Pastels, and an elaborate variety of supplies for Mixed Media Projects! Join us in this laid back learning environment.
